Bobbie is an experienced data protection lawyer and having trained at Stephenson Harwood, is a fundamental member of the data protection team. Bobbie supports Katie Hewson in delivering top quality and commercial advice to clients.
Bobbie has worked closely with a number of the department's strategic clients and has been instrumental in leading large scale data protection projects, including a data mapping and audit process for the Commodity Insights division of S&P Global and overhauling the data protection policies and procedures for Exscientia PLC, an AI-driven Pharma Tech company.
Bobbie is listed as a key lawyer in Legal500 for Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity and she should be noted as an up-and-coming Data Protection specialist.
- Developing a creative solution to the complex issue of allocation of controller/processor roles according to processing activities in client facing documentation;
- Drafting patient and healthcare professional facing privacy notice information for a patient support programme sponsored by a pharmaceutical client;
- Assisting a pharmaceutical client with the simplification and automation of its data protection contracting documents; and
- Drafting and negotiating a complex international agreement with a global contract research organisation for a Pharma Tech company to ensure the balance between the furtherance of innovative research vs. the protection of clinical trial patient data and compliance with the complex regulatory landscape.
